Expert Solution

When the Companies step out of the Conventional wisdom, their vision is to look beyond the growth and are hence committed to an identity. These Companies follow an untrodden path. They commit to focus on such value proposition that helps them build such capabilities that are distinct in nature. The survival of these Companies in the long-run is, although challenging, a sustainable one. They include dynamism in their operations and plans and hence they can keep pace with the changing environment. The Company that is committed to identity has the potential to venture into various competitive arenas wherein the success is guaranteed owing to being well-equipped in the space. For example, Apple as a Company is regarded for its finest quality of products and hence they can command premium pricing for the same because they also provide the best user-experiences. Here is where this Company’s commitment to identity supports its actions. In other words, the value proposition in the market, the system capabilities and the availability of products and services to capture those capabilities, is essential for a Company to commit to an identity.
