Which of these 2 styles is more likely to focus on Task Oriented Leadership, and on micromanagement (detailed supervision by the leader) of employee activities? Which style is more likely to emphasize the delegation of task scheduling, design, and approaches to completing projects to the employees?

Task oriented leadership and micromanagement of employee activities is both the styles which are mainly carried to reach the goals but the only difference is the way of reaching the goals.

Task oriented leadership mainly concentrate task and how to achieve those tasks. In this kind of leadership, leaders take their own decisions and make the subordinates to follow the decisions. They do not concentrate on the ideas given by the co employees. These leaders just find their own way of technical procedures to complete the tasks.

Micromanagement of employee activities- In this style leaders mainly concentrate on the employee or the subordinate’s way of working. Leaders will observe each and every aspect regarding the tasks and the leader give and take the ideas from the employees. Leader always takes updates from the employees until the task get completed and pay more attention towards the details given by the employees.

According to my point of view, by over viewing both the styles micromanagement of employee activities was the best style to carried out the tasks easily with success. In task oriented leadership, leader will be talented person but leader should always share his/her views with the employees and ask them whether they liked it or not. In micromanagement style leader always in touch with the employees and make them to do the work by taking their valuable ideas if necessary. For the task scheduling, designing and approaches to completing project to the employees micromanagement style will be more suitable. The task which are mentioned before will be completed only when the employees know each and every aspect regarding the project. In this style leader tends to asks the ideas of the employees to complete the tasks.
