Continue to date someone who puts you down in front of his/her friends generally indicates towards abnormal feeling of general insufficiency and that leads to this kind of situation. Basically who are not people pleasures and people who accept it as their fate or start finding faults of their own instead of telling their partner to behave in a proper way, being comfortable with demeaning comments is the worst sign and a signal of low self-esteem that should be changed. Emotional attachment is also responsible because fear of losing your partner because you think you'll never find someone better than him is bad. You need to heal yourself by self-love and you should analyze your self worth so that you will be able to come out of that toxic relationship. Belittling can happen in many ways like it can be manipulative or insulting, the person can verbally abuse you or make you feel like you are worthless but if you will not speak up he/she will feel that it is ok to misbehave with you because you are unable to take stand for yourself. The implication can be that do feel good about yourself and don't let others insult you.

Not dealing with a problem in a class the moment you realize it is a problem means your lack of flexibility is stopping you from taking any necessary step and you feel most people don't really do anything so you also don't do anything but that's not the case when you should not think about others or about the outcome. It can be good or bad, you just have to work on your mental set and share your problem with your parents and good friends to get proper guidance and change that attitude by using them. Once you feel uplifted it will be easier for you to deal with this in future. Dont seek sympathy or feel that your helpless but rather tell yourself that you are able to solve everything on your own. Cognitive development is must and seek help if you think is needed for you.
