D2L is also the developer of Open Courses a Massive Open Online Course platform. The Desire2Learn course management system, often known as D2L, is used to deliver learning resources to students, including syllabi, course content and other documents, and multimedia content. Students also use Desire2Learn to submit assignments, take tests and quizzes, and collaborate with instructors and classmates.

As a professional trainer I have observed, Desire2learn learning system makes designing of course very much easier.

User Interface:-There are no other learning management systems which have such a unique and beautiful user interface. It is one of the most complete learning management systems available today.

Courses:- The best part about them are the addition of courses with respect to changing time. For ex- When the world started about analytics, they already had a learning course in their programme for the same. One of the best contents they have which makes them stand out from their competitors.

Availability:- They are available on tablets / mobile phones/ desktops/ laptops.

Other Services:- Their consulting, quizzes are also very good and appreciated by students as well as teachers across the world.

Customer Satisfaction:- Last but not the least, the most desired thing about learning is you get it when you need it. Same is their moto and with a customer service going beyond their original duties, I have not seen such good services in an online learning organization.
