PROJECT MANAGEMENT - ASAP
Do you agree with the statement that “nothing great would ever be built if people knew in advance what the real costs and challenges were”?
Ans) I agree with the Statement
Reason - If people knew about the real costs and challenges in advance, most of the people back out and never pursue the project. Knowing things beforehand is only possible when somebody has already done that and no greatness is achieved by building something that is already built. It stops the people from innovating and creating solutions that are never seen before.
Not knowing things helps in developing forecasting skills and helps in identifying opportunities out of alternatives and there is always a scope for producing something that has never been done before. People react to new challenges with out of the box ideas and this helps in creating value, something of importance, something that changes the whole scenario of the field in which it is created and thus becomes great.
