Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer 1= The biggest responsibility of any person is towards the community and the future generation. Thus when an ethical dilemma is presented in front of the production in charge to whether to select the production method that can harm the environment or to avoid it, ethically the method should not be adopted as it will harm the environment and it can result in negative consequences to both the community and future generation.

Answer 2= With the increasing pollution, destruction of the ecosystem, changing the weather cycle, it is quite evident that the concept of sustainability is more important at present than before

Answer 3= First of all any practice that can harm the environment directly or indirectly has to be prevented. The green products and green technology such as solar panels should be sued. At the community level, the recycling of the products, using less energy or clean energy resources will help in the objective.

Answer 4=The focus of triple bottom lines on social, environmental (or ecological) and financial sustainability. If the business organizations perform the regular check on their business practices and control the various wastages and process that can harm the environment. they will not only help the community to save the resources but also protect the environment. This will also attract the customers towards the company that will help in ensuring financial profitability. This is how all the three bottom lines will be accomplished.
The focus of the business should not be only on earning profit but also to have comprehensive and sustainable development. This is a very important topic as it relates to the future of the environment and Mother Nature.
