Expert Solution

Subcontracts are very crucial part in the construction field. Major MNC's and big companies are purley and completely depends on the sub contracts in many aspects may be of labour, material, transport, sub works etc.,

When we compare the construction of residential house and heavy construction project in the case of the residential house it's very simple and less working procedure but includes multiple frame work involvement but can be handled very easily where the availablity of men and material is very easy in anywhere so need and scope of sub contracts is not required. Majorly we can devide residential house construction into two parts one is material work and another one is labour work so we can able to give labour contract and material contract. So there is no scope and requirement of sub contracts in residential house construction. In the case of heavy construction works there are so many multiple types of works and different fields knowledge is required to handle the projects so majorly for the different kinds of work we have to depend on the subcontracts.
