In the highly competitive business environment, every business needs to put in its best performance on all fronts. Competitive success not only depends on world class products and services, but also the way they are presented, distributed, serviced after purchase and the quality of company's interaction with outside world, attributed to  human factors involved in each stage. The need for cross functional teams is evident from the fact, that each bundle of products and services involves inputs from different functional units such as R&D, HR, Marketing, Finance and Legal, among others to make sure that no loopholes are left, and product / service has been analysed and enhanced from all perspectives to make them ready for success in the market. The complex nature of products /services make it essential to take services of multiple departments at the same time, and the cross functional teams make it possible by saving time, efforts and cost.

b. Self actualisation is the highest order need which results in complete satisfaction of the person, whose no further need is left to be fulfilled and he /she is content with what he /she has achieved so far with help of his /her social, intellectual and creative capabilities and potential in life. The self actualisation is different for one person from other. For a scholar, high level creative and intellectual work admired across the globe, giving him name, fame and money can be self actualisation, while the same for a farmer can be ownership of a sizable farm, a home amidst nature and company of family members. Usually, the person's desires and wants are accomplished with self actualisation, and nothing more remains to be achieved.
