Management has to work hard to successfully implement and manage organizational change. Employees generally show resistance to change when they feel it may lead to loss of the jobs or they don't have a piece of good knowledge about the change being brought up. There are the following things a manager can do to successfully implement and manage organizational change:
1. The manager should explain the change to all the concerned employees. He should tell them what, why and how the change would be brought up in the organization. Their roles have to be clearly communicated.
2. The employees having any doubt about the change should be provided with counseling where their doubts should be taken care of by the counselor. It could be one on one or group session.
3. Employees should be ensured that it won't lead to the loss of a job but not compliance may lead to the same.
4. employees should be made realized that change is for the good as it will advance the company and their career as well.
5. Proper training should be given to the employees so they do not feel neglected and undervalued.
