In order to handle the larger projects, the collaboration of the multiple teams would be required. Each of the team members should be expertise in their own field. The leading a team of the diverse individuals, with their own area of expertise can be a problem for the leader of the project.

Working with a team, which is disparate mainly lead to the integration issues. It makes the leader difficult to mix up the integrated solutions. The members of the teams may come up with different solutions, also, the working methodologies, quality, tools used, and techniques varies a lot. So, the leader should be able to manage the risks and the complexity issues.

For these type of the projects, the team lead should implement the cross functional team. These teams consist of individuals having different expertise works towards a particular goal. The decision making power in this system, is led by the leader of the team. The decision is led by the interpreting the various ideas given by the team members, which led to a perfect blended idea, which is to be implemented.
