Are you planning to include any charts and/ or graphs in your final report? What are the pros and cons? This is in Research & Analysis

Solutions

Expert Solution

1st part:

Yes, including charts or graphs in the final report is necessary to showcase the result with the theoretical concept or for clearing the estimations of some values utilized for any operational purpose. Therefore, planning to include charts or graphs in the final report is necessary to tally the results obtained from the analysis of any concepts.

2nd part:

Pros and Cons:

Pros:

Including charts in the final report is essential as because it helps the reader to grasp the concepts visually that has been incorporated into it. It takes more time to read a long note of information summarized in the report than to read the compact information in visual form to make the audience understand easily. If a team of sales officer is being addressed by a representative about the sales, the representatives should come with the charts and graphs that are highly influential to learn the concept clearly, and if the visuals of the sales process are correctly shown to them then the visual presentations will work like a charm to make the sales officers understand easily than to come up with the long set of report with lots of written information.

Cons:

The graphs and charts are required to be correctly formulated with the correct formats in the final report otherwise for readers it will create an issue to understand the differences from the theoretical analysis. Incorporating too many charts and graphs can make the concept of the report confusing as for the audience it is necessary to implement the sequence and order of the graph or charts relevant to the written information. Listing long charts or if it is more in number then it may lead to a lack of clarity to understand. Therefore, it should not be congested over in number; otherwise, the report of the material will be unclear to the reader.
