Do you think its better to make a long lasting product, elegant and endearing product, but on an expensive price, or normal average price and has its expired dates on the product?

Marketing strategies vary from business to business and it cannot be the same for every business or producer.An endearing or eye catching or product will definitely grab customers' attention.In fact some people buy some stuff just because they are visually appealing and can add to their home decor and aesthetics but they might not be very useful and functional.Today especially millennials are the ones who are easily attracted towards such products because they love to boast about owing some unique and funky stuff as they think it is in trend.So endearing products can definitely help to increase revenue.

Coming to life of a product,it is for the producer to decide that whether she wants to produce a long lasting product or not.Long lasting products are high quality products that offer significant value to customer.But since such products are made using good quality material which raises their cost of production,they are a bit expensive.So not everyone can afford such products,those are specifically for high end customers.But long lasting products add value to goodwill of a business and help it gain confidence and loyalty of customers especially if a business has just started and it wants to increase its customer base.In spite of these benefits,some producers still do not produce long lasting products because they think that producing affordable goods i.e.goods of average quality which will last for moderate amount of time,will be help them increase sales.Moreover,only when products will break or will get damaged after some time,customers will visit the sellers again which is not possible for long lasting products.

As mentioned earlier expensive goods are for high end customers only because not everyone can afford such goods but reasonably priced goods(goods having normal average price) can be easily afforded by many.So it is always better to sell normal price goods as it expands the customer base and ultimately helps to increase the revenue and profits.

Expiry dates should definitely be provided or printed on perishable goods as it determines the date after which it should no longer be used.Consumption of stale or rotten food items can lead to fatal consequences for the person consuming it.So expiry dates are a must and in fact expiry date printing is mandatory by law.
