Do you believe they have changed policies without the presence of damaging stories in the media? If not, what does it say about their old managing style?

Media is to develop awareness of people about fact.

Damaging stories develop more awareness than non damaging stories. As incidence took place, here media with more interest wants to express this damaging story should not get repeat in future. In attempt to do so media develop certain discussion, media try to find out root cause. In case of natural calamity damaging story get spread ,that helps remaining people nearby vicinity to maintain some precaution so that any kind of natural calamity like storm will lest affect to their routine life.

Where as in case damaging story reported like accident in that case more discussion was to avoid possibility in near future.

Thus early days, media person was redistricted them self till reporting but now media come ups with regular update. Thus picture get clearer and people get more appropriate information about incidence.

Old managing style- Earlier number of media available was too limited & it was like monopoly to influence mass but now a day's number of resources available in multiple number. And people want to conform from official resources. Hence media become more responsible before spreading any news or event in general public.

As media directly communicate with people, and as trust building is intrigue part of media, it care for general people and care to avoid any artificial chaos.

Thus goal of media remain unrulier but objective changed according to environmental requirement. Issue may be market & its bullies or bear, political changes, or changes in policy.

Thus there is no change in media style at it's ever shoulder responsibility as forth pillar of democracy. And freedom of media gets maintain with dignity.
