Here we will get into the topic where we will discuss the five types of sources of Power along with solving a case in which I am receiving the complaints about the drive-through window to be very slow, and they spend too much time talking to one another.

1) Legitimate Power:- It is the type of Power that gets allotted to the person keeping in mind their abilities and capabilities and their post.

For example - if a person is of the senior post, he would get the most powers, and if a person is of lower position would get the less powers.

2) Reward Power:- It is that Power that allotted the person keeping in mind the performance and the working in the organization.

Example - If the performance of the employees in the organization is excellent, they would be rewarded something with the performance appraisal of the bonus accept. If not, they would not get awarded anything but punishment sometimes as to motivate them with the negative incentive.

3) Coercive Power:- It is that Power that used to scare or negatively motivate the employees by fearing them, giving punishment if they would not work correctly or according to the standard set previously.

4) Referent Power:- This is not a type that gets allotted to the person, but it is that Power that helps the team members to motivate others by influencing their behavior towards the positive paths.

5) Expert Power:- These are those powers that are with those who have some expertise or skills in a special kind or a particular kind of thing. These powers get used to influence others' behavior or guide them towards the right path.

There are recent complaints regarding the the the trailers which were a lot with one another and received at their works should be taken care of by the source of Coercive powers of fearing them of the punishment if they will not work correctly.
