On this weeks discussion do a current functional structure on the company, Kellogg's.

Kellogs is very famous Food manufacturing company. The CEO of this company is Steven Cahillane. Comany is famous for manufacturing Cereals, crackers,Toaster pasteris, cereal bars etc. The Function structure of Kellogs is created where employees are grouped based on specialization where they perform similar set of roles and tasks.

The functional structure of Kellogs has funcational departments that are Production, HR, Accounts/finance, Marketing and Sales.

In Production department, The production manager handle all the work and lead employees under his span of contract. In this department, Production manager and employees are responsible for manufacturing, operations, packaging, inventory and warehousing of its products.

In HR department which is headed by HR manager involves task and responsbility to selection, training, compensation, attendance, performance appraisal like functions.

Accounting and Finance department of kellogs deals with all the accounting and financial activities done by department manager and employees. for example- Budgeting, accounting statements like balancesheet, accounts recieveable, payable, etc.

Marketing and sales department involves Marketing functions like advertising, promotion and marketing campaign for its cereal products in different countries. sales involve people like sales personnel to focus on how to sale its product to end consumer.
