Solutions

Expert Solution

A. Inorder to have design principles incorporated , we need to have the organisation with a proper system and experienced and trained professionals . We can show them the basic design principles and explain the advantages of having these principles in the organisation as they will help us in maintaining the consistency in the performance of the organisation. We need to train all the employees on these principles and make them understand the need for the design principles to be incorporated and only then we can slowly introduce them into the organisation.

B. platform products are the products where the basic structure or formula of one product will be used to produse different products. Whenw e have a product whose basic design can be used to produce some other products which also reduces the wastage and also gives the company additional advantages, we can think of having platform products. For this we need to have a proper plan on how the basic structure can be used to produce different products and how they can be used to increase the revenue of the organisation.
