Why are companies that implement the principles of conscious capitalism viewed as more ethical than their competitors?

Solutions

Expert Solution

While all the companies involved in such a discussion would be ethical in one regard or another, conscious capitalism makes use of the consideration that every involved stakeholder of the company has an equal interest and should be viewed equally, not just shareholders and corporate management. Such companies focus on developing the interests of all the associated parries, including the government, the people and opt to enable the sustainability and rehabilitation of the environment as a rule. It takes into account the entire ecosystem of the business as a combined entity, catering to their interests in order to then create a sustainable business practice that has the ability to make use of all possible associations and considerations to reach the necessary state of creating value for everybody. This is why businesses that follow conscious capitalism are more involved than other ethical businesses because the consideration is put forward in developing the overall ecosystem and not just serve the interest of particular stakeholders.

For example, colleges will use a multiple regression equation that uses high school GPA, test score from the ACT or SAT (college entrance exams), and high school academic ranking (i.e., the quality of the high school) to predict how well a prospective student...
