Expert Solution

Just in time is a system in which a company receives goods when they are required. Just in time 's three ingredients are flow production, takt time, and a pull system.

Flow manufacture: flow production, small numbers of items, and consecutive steps are processed. Flow production is used in a transportation company so that the effective and efficient flow of materials in necessary quantities to the production unit is present at the required time.

Takt Time -In the case of loading-trucks, takt time-takt time is used in a transport company. So when vehicles must depart the yard at a particular time, the time before departure can be divided, so it requires a fair amount of time to avoid delays to load each truck. For instance, it means that every truck will be charged in 18 minutes, in order to be on schedule, if you have 10 trucks to charge within 3 hours.

A pull system – this system helps to ensure the necessary sequence of actions. For example, the order must be received and verified in a transport company before loading. If the packaging is done before order verification, overloading or underloading may lead to loads unloading or adding more goods to the lorry, which may lead to time wastage.
