Solutions

Expert Solution

M/M/1 queue: This M/M/1 queue is generally made by the Poisson process which shows the arrival of packets into an infinite buffers. This shows the flow as a packet reaches the head of the buffer and the server processes the packet send it to the destination of the packets.

The M/M/1 queue can be build as below for the health organization.

Goal of M/M/1 Queue: The goal of the queue is to have optimized flow for the patients at the health care facility so that the patients gets the right service with lowest waiting time at the health care facility and gets their treatment service on the speedy pattern. The goal of the M/M/1 queue system is to have optimized service system so that patients gets quickest possible service with highest efficiency of the healthcare system with optimized usage of the available resources.

The exercise tells us to design the service support system in such a way that patients gets lowest waiting time and the healthcare station delivers the best possible solution to their customers (patients).

Solution: Our solution is to develop the health care system in such a way that the optimized queuing process is established with lowest lead time and optimized usage of the resources of the healthcare units.
