Three internal recruitment channels are -

1) Transfer - Transfer means shifting employees from one job position to another at the same level of authority. For example - Transferring a clerk from the accounting department to the purchase department.

2) Promotion - promotion refers to shifting employees from one job position to another with a higher level of authority. For Example - Promoting clerk to account post.

3) Lay off - It refers to temporary or short time period termination of the employee at offseason whenever the work is started the call back again.

Three external recruitment channel are -

Direct recruitment - The organization faced notice at the gate of their office, stating the vacant job position. The interested people walk in for the interview.

Media advertising - Thee most common and popular external requirement method is advertising about the vacant job position through medial like newspaper.

Campus recruitment - Sometimes, the organization's senior managers visit various professional colleges and institutes to get fresh graduates with the latest technological knowledge.
