what is the assessment of the new process for managing priorities at Volkswagen of America?Are the criticisms justified?Is it an improvement over the old process?
After facing the huge scandal, Volkswagen has to Reform its policy of operation in United States of America to stay profitable as well as to provide adequate level of support to its operational capabilities. Company introduced a new plant named as Volkswagen of America which includes reform of managed IT priorities in United States of America. There new process involving priorities at Volkswagen was divided into three parts.
First face was implemented for the projects and implementation
of improved communication process and identify dependency.
Second Phase involved development of project request from business
unit where three different investment types are recognised, return
on investment, stay in business and option creating
environment.
The Other technological application types were also recognised
which were base enterprise it platform, enterprise applications and
customer point solutions..
Stage 3 involved transformation of the business units to match with
the gold standard of the organisation.
Definitely all of the criticism are justified and provided extensive level of availability for Volkswagen to successfully increase its adaptability in the respective environment by implementation of such specific strategies. This type of Reform process increased their impact on harnessing the opportunity and creating a better impact on the total availability opportunities for Volkswagen.
