Answer.

Positive Psychological Interventions include a varsity of theoretically-grounded and empirically-validated activities, strategies and recommendations that are designed to enhance well-being .The broaden-and-build theory posits that experiences of positive emotions broaden people's momentary thought-action repertoires, which in turn serves to build their physical and intellectual resources as well as social and psychological resources. A part of effective intervention is to direct the focus away from negative emotions and instead promote positive emotions in its place to increase a person’s coping with the difficult circumstances. This change is considered to be based upon three key assumptions or principles:

Positive affect, according to numerous theorists, facilitates approach behavior or continued action as they prompt individuals to engage with their environments and partake in personally and collectively adaptive activities.

Secondly, positive emotions include a component of positive affect, they too function as internal signals to approach a situation. for instance, free-floating positive moods motivate people to continue along any line of thinking or action that they have initiated.

Thirdly, certain positive emotions—including joy, interest, contentment, pride, and love—although experientially distinct, all share the ability to broaden people's momentary thought-action repertoires and build their enduring personal resources, ranging from physical and intellectual resources to social and psychological ones. A range of positive emotions support this claim. For example, the positive emotion of Joy broadens by creating the urge to play, push the limits, and be creative.
