Why does exemplary leadership matter? Give examples.
Exemplary leadership matters in an organization even more than management and there are a number of reasons for that:
1. Management needs to make the direction of the company’s outlook but they may not be able to handle the required processes to reach the said target.
2. Leadership is a necessary aspect when we need to realize the relationship between work capacity, output, employee motivation and micromanaging small processes.
3. They have a closer relationship with the employees which makes it imperative to have the necessary knowledge and competency to bring out the best in people.
4. A good leader understands their role in the company while an exemplary leader understands the value of all the employees as a collective group towards the factor of capacity for the company.
5. An exemplary leader leads by example, creates motivation for the employees as well as have the trust of their employees which is necessary as a factor for consideration.
6. An exemplary leader recognizes the value of individual efforts and nurtures the abilities and talents of everybody in order to create the required features for both the company as well as the employees.
