Discuss family-centered care, including, but not limited to, the philosophy of nursing care and the major functions of the nurse.
Family-centred care (FCC) may be a partnership approach which involves health care decision- making between health care supplier and the family. Federal Communications Commission is taken into account the quality of paediatric health care by several clinical practices, hospitals and health care teams.
Patient and family-centred care will improve patient and family outcomes, improve the patient's and family's expertise, increase patient and family satisfaction, devolve on kid and family strengths, increase skilled satisfaction, decrease health care prices and result in a simpler use of health care resources.
The major functions of the nurse:
1. Record symptoms and case history of the patient.
2. Teamup with team members to arrange for care of the patient.
3- Check patient health and records.
4. Administer and advocate medicines of the patient.
5- Operate the medical instruments
6. Perform diagnostic tests for the patient.
7. Educate patients concerning the management and prevention of the disease.
