Create a 'quick-guide' table for the fossil hominins species. In your table include the name of the hominin (Pre-australopith, gracile australopith, robust australopith, early Homo, Homo erectus, pre-modern Homo, and Homo sapiens sapiens). For each hominin, include the date range, geographic range, cranial capacity, skull characteristics, post-cranial characteristics, tool kit, behaviors, and important fossils. The purpose of a 'quick-guide' is not to list everything, but to list only the most important things. Also, you will have to look ahead in your textbook to complete the table.
You might set your table up something like this:
Pre-Australopith | Gracile Australopith | Robust Australopith | Early Homo | Homo erectus | Pre-modern Homo | Homo sapiens sapiens
Date range | |||||||
Geographic range | |||||||
Cranial capacity | |||||||
Skull characteristics
Post-cranial characteristics
Tool kit | |||||||
Behaviors | |||||||
