• Corsairs: Corsairs are basically pirates who travelled in a ship also known as corsair. They used to do criminal activities such as robbing from other ships and killing the passengers of other ships if needed. Among all pirates only those pirates are called Corsairs who are french in origin and dwells mostly near St. malo.
• Military orders: This can be defined in two ways. In one way, the military orders basically denotes all those commands and instructions which are given by the military officials at the higher positions or ranks to the military officials at the lower position or ranks. In another way, military order refers to a society of Christian religion which consisted of several knights.
• Passion play: Passion play is a very important activity of the Christian religion. It basically refers to a theatrical depiction of the way in which Jesus got crucified. It consists of the most important scenes which are related to the passion of that event.
• Devshirme: It basically refers to a practise which was seen mainly in the Ottoman Empire in which various children of the Christian subjects of Balkan were made to work as soldiers or were recruited as soldiers against their will. These children were also recruited as bureaucrats under the practise in forceful manner.
