Peer assessment is a process where students or peers of an institute evaluate the other students or peers of an institution. Peer assesment act as a tool as it helps in an active thinking process. Critical thinking is related to peer assessmest as when we are assessing our fellow mates, we think in a critical way to assess others for giving a feedback. An individual in peer assessment goes through the work of his fellow mate to improvise them. It also helps to enhance the writting, reading and evaluation skills of a studnet. The evaluator may see the work of the peer in a different perpectives which will help in increasing vision and high order thinking skills.

The strategies that can be applied when we assess Written Assignments are:

i) Giving feedback after reading or assessing the writting by the student so that he will know where he is wrong and it may also help him knowing his strong points.

ii) Planning and inplementing different tasks that will help the student achieving the learning objectives,

iii) Allowing the students in having control of their own written work. Like for revision the students should be suggested about different options that they can use.
