Expert Solution

Critical thinking is the power to lead rationally, our thinking is analytical and focused towards rationality.. Critical thinkers use intellectual tools to diminish the egocentric behaviour or sociocentric tendencies. It is difficult to define the critical thinking as each person differs in this, one can not define exactly as rationality concept of people can be different.

Critical thinking uses all the potential in improving things, which cannot be done by sitting idle. Critical thinker works on intellectual humility, intellectual civility, intellectual empathy etc.It requires lot of analytical power which is half battle itself, half battle with self, with others who have different opinions. I suppose earlier scientists kind Socrates, Newton etc all had to use their critical thinking skills. Earlier scientists did think critically eg, is earth really in the middle of the solar system or is it sun etc. Does God really exist or does science makes miracles etc.
