in ancient african culture, sahara desert play major role. trade routes across the sahara desert are played key role in africa's economy. goods like gold, salt, slaves, cloths transported across desert. in modern days this desert is becoming barigate to development. saharan countries are not easily accessed  by other parts of continent. in recent years sahara desert is expanding and causing diffusion of agriculture in near by areas. this desert has valuable minerals and natural resources, which are helping african economy. sahara desert as lifeline to many saharan countries as the minerals and natural resources are giving economy to counties. there are still many people who struggle for water in daily basis in these countries, due to these bad living conditions, people are shifting to near by towns and try to settle in jobs. they lost their cultural identity and living in poverty slums.
