World War 2 is seen as a dark period when the history is revised , for every section of the society , en every part of the world , majorly the part of world involved in the war. The sacrificies made were not limited to the major countires taking part in the war , but also the alliance countries whose labour and arm power was more or less exploited by the leading countries. The leading countries has an history of exploitation of labour , not in just the colonies but also the exploitation of the poor in own nation. The rise of capitalism is observed the most and rising at an exponential scale only during this time. These were the times when human rights was not a regular discussion, globalisation was new and trade was having a world wide approach. The times were the budding time for capitalism.

US being a major leading force of the allies in the world war 2, had a huge role to play in the war whether it was in terms of providing enough army or defence equipment, US economy faced a major charge . The impact of the war was clear, the domestic inductries got impacted as well as the countries in trade chain also got impacted majorly . To nderstand this we talk abot he domestic industry first.

The domestic market faced a major change as production shifted from the preference of making more money and promoting the capitalist market to making defence equipments and shift of major labour to the defence line in order to contribute to the war. The involvement of men in war was almost not voluntary which caused the women to take charge of the nation , which is stilled maret as an essential point for the femenist movement to start in the world. In addition to this, as discussed above, although capitalism no longer could spread via the production mechanism, it was largely propogated via the means of defence . The simple way was, the poor were forced to join the army , without concentives to the poor and the chance of leading the movement was in the hands of the capitalist class which was a small rich section of society , who if not got richer via means of production, founds ways to capture by becoming the sole producer of goods which were demanded lie defence equipments etc, and employing cheap labour in the name of national emergency.

Coming to the world market, countries dependent on US for trade , exports , imports , labour supply and employment, faced a major hit due to world war. The war caused the economies all over the world to shift. Large scale countries with no one specialisation survived, but small countires with specialisation in one field saw a major hit. Countires were dependent on US for export of raw material which was processed by the large plants owned by the US based capitalist, which gradually reduced , making the poor even more poor. Not just this , the countires in alliance with US were forced to put out labour force to fight the war. So much so they became casualities of the war , the families were left with no compunsation and hence the small economies faced major losses. This was how international economy got hit by world war.
