In its social media advertisement, Dove has done more than just
marketing for its brand. It started a campaign " Courage is
Beautiful" effectively honored the workers of the healthcare sector
who are working tirelessly in the coronavirus pandemic. The brand
also has started the ‘Real Beauty’ campaign" long ago to encourage
the beauty of real human values. The marketing of Dove is an active
message to all the human beings out there that beauty does not lie
in the color of your skin but inside your heart. It highlighted
this message by showing a healthcare worker in the picture having
scares on her face by encouraging the workers to fight against
Pandemic constantly.
The audience and the target market that this message is intended to
reach is youth and young generation, both make and female. This
advertisement is much more than just an advertisement that focuses
on courage and human values as the core element of beauty.
