The vasectomy is an effective surgical method for the male sterilization or persistent contraception.At the time of performing this method,male vasa deferentia is cut and bind or seal up so as to stop the sperm from getting to the urethra and by that means stop fertilization of a female by sexual intercourse.
In the Tubal ligation, a female fallopian tubes are cut,bind or obstructed to persistently stop pregnanacy.This process stop an egg from its journy from ovaries by means of fallopian tubes and prevent the sperm from moving up the fallopian tube to egg.But this process will not trouble the menstrual cycle.
VASECTOMY:
PROS:
Persistent procedure of birth control.
Easy and inexpensive than the female sterilization.
CONS:
Not reversible
May lead to some health problems like inflammation and early failure.
TUBAL LIGATION:
PROS:
Persistently stop pregnancy
Reduce the possibility of ovarian cancer.
CONS:
Will not shield from any kind of STD's.
