Apply the Job Dissatisfaction Model = Voice/Exit/Loyalty/Neglect model to a day to day personal life experience at work, home or university ASAP
The job dissatisfaction model talks about how a person reacts to different job situations with different ways. There are basically 4 ways in the job dissatisfaction model which are as follows:
1. Voice: Constructive and Active attempts are given to improve the conditions of the job. Example, if your manager is paying you less than the labour rate in the market, a person under this would raise the awareness, file the complaint and reach to the HR for making active attempts for conditions to imorove.
2. Loyalty: Passively but optimistically waiting for the conditions to improve, including trusting the organisation and the management to do the right thing. Continuing the same example, you have filed the complaint now and thus you are trusting the management to work for the same issue and still working with the organisation because of your loyalty.
3. Neglect: Allowing conditions to worsen which would then include the higher absenteeism rate and increased error rate. For example, Some people would rather neglect such changes and typical dissatisfaction and still continue to work in such environment but with lesser motivation and lesser productivity level.
4. Exit: Dissatisfaction which is expressed through the behaviour of leaving the job and organisation. For example, now that nobody is responding and the dissatisfaction that you are facing is going out of your hands, you would leave the organisation and give away your resignation letter with poor feedback of the company.
