How does the electrical conduction through the heart influence contraction, volume, pressure, and heart sounds?
The electric conduction initiated at the SA node in the right atrium stimulate the contraction of the atrium,as a result the electric signal travels to the AV node at the interartrial septum, through that signal reaches to the bundle of his through the bundle branches causes the rhythmic contraction of the heart muscles results into left and right atria contraction followed by the right and left ventricles. Thus the contraction of heart provides the supply of blood all over the body. The contraction of the ventricles in coordinated manner allows to generate the systolic pressure to force the sufficient volume of the blood to the great arteries. During the electric conduction, the opening and closing of the valve generates the sound aligned with the heart beat. At the start of systole, the atrioventricular valve (AV node) closes and generates the lub first heart sound and at the end of the systole ,semilunar valve (SA valve) closes generates the second heart sound dub.
