Identify and explain in detail at least three techniques to improve mobile marketing capabilities. Which technique do you believe to be the most impactful and why?

Mobile marketing involves reaching out to the existinsg and potential customer base using mobile devices. The objective of mobile marketing is to use mobile phones, tablets etc . and utilise the services such as sms, email, websites, push notifications, apps.
The most effective of the techniques are as follows:
1. App: App is the best way to reach out to the customer, for the purpose of not just marketing but also offerings solutions. For Eg: The amazon mobile app, enables not only the user to browse and buy on Amazon.com, but also get the advertising of the recent upcoming sales and the ongoing best offers. It is a win- win for the both Amazon and customer. The content is now being consumed through numerous advertising on youtube and through other app base channels.
2. Push notifications: It is a highly effective and targetted means of reaching out to the customers. This enables the companies to reach out to the users with the communication they target. However this comes with a disadvantage, that unlike apps it is only one way communication from the producer to consumer. This does not enable understanding the consumer behaviour and improvising the notifications as per that.
3. SMS: Highly effective technique for geurilla marketing. This enables the organisation, to ensure that the message is broadcasted to large audience groups which may not even be the target. The ideology is, once shared there is a posibility of the message being shared by word of mouth. However in the recent times, with SMS/ MMS becoming obsolete this mode of marketing though continues but fails to work effectively for the content creators.
