It is the counselor’s philosophy and approach about how problems develop and how these are resolved or treated. It also informs the counsellor's focus in each session, goals of counseling, and interventions you will experience in counseling sessions.
· The three theories that you matched with me most closely are:
Narrative Therapy
Person-Centered Therapy
Narrative Therapy
The assessment and diagnosis faired quite accurately in my case as I was able to relate closely to the therapies, they in turn helped me to increase my perspective on things
· The theory that was the worst match for my human nature was:
Family Systems Therapy
The reason it didn’t suit me was because I do not have an immediate family and the therapy affected me adversely while I reminisced the times spent with them in my early days.
