Gender roles differ from culture to culture. They are norms that are set to follow the rules and norms by the society based on gender be it feminine or masculine. There are the traditional gender stereo types that differentiate the feminine and masculine. For example the stereotype where feminine is considered as emotional, nurturing, kind, and sensitive and masculine to be strong, tough, decisive, not emotional. These are the stereotypes which are instilled right from birth and as they grow into an adult. In certain culture females are expected to stay and take care of family and no open to the idea of learning. The male is the dominant factor.Where as in western society women have equal right to men and they are open to the idea of women working in all arena of men.Men are expected to take part in household activities and take care of children.Gender is a stereotype that is followed through different cultures.
