Ute people are native Americans of Ute tribe and culture are great example of great basin classification. Fishing and hunting is that the method they follow for food gathering. They need lived within the regions of present-day Utah and Colorado for several years. They extended the hunting to different places in america. The Ute people traded with Europeans by the starting of 19th century including at encampments in the San Luis Valley, Wet Mountains, and therefore the Upper Arkansas Valley. Utes began to be impacted by European-American contact with the 1847 arrival of Mormon settlers. After initial settlement by the Mormons, as they moved south to the Wasatch Front, Utes were pushed off their land. Wars begins from 1850 s where Ute children were captured

As Europeans moved beyond exploration and into colonization of Americas, they brought changes to virtually every aspect of the land and its people, from trade and hunting to warfare and private  property. Colonization ruptured many impact to environment and ecology, bringing in new organisms while eliminating others. The Europeans brought many diseases with them, which reduce Americans populations. European expansion brought the possibilities of obtaining land, riches, and social advancement. Many poor young men left Spain for Mexico, where they could get land to be "gentlemens". It also affect the economy.  European expansion caught new diseases including  smallpox, influenza, measles, and chicken pox to Ute peoples. Explorers used superior fire power, like single shot muskets, to conquer the land and their belongings. They attacks their lands and culture . Many of the people died of diseases. Also the a lot of slaves where killed or died on the way to the Americas. Natives were also of many things. When trading and discovering it brought many diseases. In the ships the slaves also starved and committed suicide. Plus they threw off slaves because there wasn't enough water for everyone. Spread of religion , decrease in population, spread of diseases and culture were demolished due to European expansion in Utes of America.
