The following are the three important differences between a leader and a manager.

  • Leaders have long-term thinking whereas managers have short-term thinking.
  • Leaders are leading with the help of creating better relationships with others whereas managers are doing their duties by creating systems and processes.
  • Leaders tend to have many followers whereas mangers have employees working under him.
