How can you apply Maslow’s hierarchy of needs to the way you advertise a product or service?
Maslow's hierarchy of needs indicates that every employee in an organization has the goal to fulfill any one of the needs he mentioned in his theory. These needs are physiological needs, safety and security need, social needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs. We have to understand which needs of the employee are dissatisfied. Similarly, we can make use of the Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory in advertising the product. We can understand which type of need the customers lack or expect from the product and promote or design the product and services accordingly. For example, if you are a car seller and your customers are looking to fulfill safety and security needs, you can advertise that you're providing insurance with your car at a low price.
