Describe how you feel about immigration health when you think about the topic and those affected by it. Be honest. Speculate, without using any resources, why you think your topic relates to social justice. Be sure to commit to at least three reasons that involve the individual, community, and culture. Support your personal beliefs. In other words, say why you think these are the reasons.Put everything in your own words, at least a page or two.
Immigrants and their welfare are a major issue being faced in the country right now. Health is one of the social equities and provision of access to health is crucial as health facilities are costly. The health conditions of the immigrants are not in a favourable position as compared to the native who enjoys relatively better conditions of health, income and social security. Right to health should be something universal, and without proper health, there is an imbalance in the income capacity of the individuals they become relatively deprived,
Having equal access in terms of economic and health benefits should not be founded on discrimination. The social justice would exactly give all citizens equal opportunities to health, work, jobs and income. Immigrants constitute a major part of the population and denying certain rights to them means denying basic rights to them. First, the problem faced by an immigrant individual from an African community is stark. He/ She is not able to afford the health requirements at the time of accident or crisis which makes their life vulnerable. The community of the Blacks living in Louisville, Kentucky receives less support when it comes to health, the racial immigrants are also at disadvantaged.
My belief is that giving access to good health for immigrants should be the main task of the country because when income is being spent on these need, and the debt increasing each day, the section of the population will be in a position to remain relatively deprived. By giving good access to health, they would be empowered to work and earn and save up which will add up to their generation, community and culture as a whole.
