Cell phones and social media have become an essential part of life. Describe what you believe the pros and cons of cell phone use and social media in modern society are. Does it help or hinder communication? Why?

The advent of modern technologies had made world smaller. But with every benefit that we receive , we are bound to get some disadvantages too.So there are pros and cons to everything in the life.

Cell phones and social media have become increasingly popular these days , and spending a day without them seems like a lifetime.

It has made our lives easier by helping us contact our friends and relatives or the people whom we need. Earlier this contact and communication took a lot of people , as the only medium was telegrams / letters , or meeting the on ein person travelling distances. The social media has helped us in transmission of the information to millions of people in the blink of eye at same moment.

It is now easier to connect with the people in every corner of the world.

There are certain cons too. It has made people plastic , devoid of emotions!! A simple RIP on the social media wall has replaced the deep condolences , and a HBD message replaced the warm wishes.

People often connect with the strangers living thousand of miles away , and forget noticing the ones (parents) sitting close by.

So these inventions have no doubt helped with the communication and saved our valuable time.
