Identify at least five milestones for the Global Treps Project. Write a short paper describing each milestone using the SMART criteria. Discuss how determining the details of these milestones might add activities or tasks to the Gantt chart. Remember that milestones nor- mally have no duration, so you must have tasks that will lead to completing them

Milestones of any Global Treps Projects can be various, but first we will learn about the SMART criteria.

SMART criteria refers to or SMART stands for :

1. Specific : specified work that was done for project.
2. Measureable : work must be measurable in quality aspect as well
3. Assignable : Work can eaisly be assigned to others , so it must be clear
4. Realistic : All the implementation was realistic
5. Time-framed : Well time framed work help to achive the goal on time.

So, All the milestone would be described using this above criteria.

Now , talking about milestone in a project as : So in the entire project shedule milestones are the specific or significant events, that consist of various activites. It is very much helpful for setting the goals during the project shedule and monitering the progress of the projects.

Now discuss about each milestones one by one.

1. Preparation and Planning : Planning is one of the most important and the first thing that we do in the project schedule after the feasiblity study. So the activites for achiving this milestone are :
   1. First estimate the cost as well as time and make it approved.
   2. Craft the workload division and also the estimated schedule for the tasks.
   3. Make the Project team and divide the tasks.(In the groups as well as in individuals if requied.)
   4. Schedules that was divided in point 2 must be go to check for the dependancy of the tasks on each other. If a task that was done after an output of the other task , so the dependent task should be schedule only after the task on which it was dependent.
2. Intiating the Project : Intiating Project is the done after the planning of the project. For accomplising this milestone the activities are :
   1. Assign a Projct Manager : who look and monitor the entier project.
   2. Developing the charter and workflow for the project.
   3. Also create some measures like Decision metrix for the project.
3. Designing the Project : Now in the Designing phase we would do the following activities for the accomplisment of this milestone are :
   1. Review the appoach of the Development time to time, change it if required.
   2. Upgrade the software and hardware as per need.
   3. Look for the updation in Database as per need, and structure.
4. ​​​​​​​Analysing the Project : Once the project was in the Designing phase then analises of the project was so much importand. and for this milestone activites are :
   1. Checking the u​​​​​​pdates of the tasks.
   2. Always mark some alternatives as a backup plan.
   3. Apporch the best and more feasible way for the designing of the project.
5. Integrating the Tasks : It is the part of Development , but alone it also a milestone it self, for accomplising it the activities are :
   1. ​​​​​​​Follow the correct approch of Integration.
   2. Testing after Integration.
