What are some key signaling pathways/intracellular molecules involved in cell signaling (how does this relate to stress response, cell remodeling, cell cycle, migration, membrane composition)?

Solutions

Expert Solution

In multicelluar organisms, there are many molecules, of different type, capable of transmiting information to different cells. The molecules may differe in their structure and function. Some of the molecules are capable to transmit the information to log distance, whereas some other molecules transmit informations to nearby cells. Some molecules can pass through the plasma membrane and they can easily bind with the intercellular receptors. Different stress activate the intracellular mechanism, like mitochondrial stress sigalling, DNA damage response. Intracellular molecules regulate cell cycle, migration membrane compostion. Intracellular molecules hleps in positive or negative regulation, and helps in the production of regulatory proteins. intracellular molecules regulate the cell migration. Cell migration include different cell locomotion, cell and tissue development, immune response, wound healing etc.
