Expert Solution

Cardiac output is the amount of the blood that forms through the circulatory system per minute. This is the amount of blood that put by the left ventricle of the heart is commonly known as stroke volume. This is the volume of the heart which is based on the cardiac output. Cardiac output is also responsible to define the volume of the blood that is formed by the heart. It is the volume of blood in the heart per minute. Cardiac output can also be calculated by the multiplication of heart rate as well as stroke volume.

The resting output of the young for youth and healthy people cannot be the same as the inactive state of 25-year-old because the heart fills the blood slowly in the older person as compared to the younger person. The size of the heart changes with age. The aging on the heart as well as vessels because they increase in size due to muscles of the heart. In an inactive form, the structure of the heart becomes more rigid. The left ventricle gets thicker and the volume may go into declination.
