If there are 48.0 mol of O,h ow many moles of each of the following compounds are present?
H2SO4 , C2H4O2 , NaOH

Solutions

Expert Solution

moles of O = 48.0

1) H2SO4

moles of H2SO4 = 1/4 * moles of O

                            = 1/4 * 48

                           = 12

moles of H2SO4 = 12

2) C2H4O2 :

moles of C2H4O2 = 1/2 * moles of C2H4O2

                             = 1/2 * 48.0

                             = 24.0

moles of C2H4O2 = 24.0

3) NaOH

moles of NaOH = moles of O

moles of NaOH = 48.0
