When a person is interviewing for a role then the requirement is for both the parties. The applicant is looking for a job and the company is looking for a person who can fill that role and do the job satisfactorily. The company expects good education, work experience, leadership qualities, communication skills, latest tools and technologies, and multilingual skills from the applicant. They want all these skills so that the applicant can be successful in the role and take care of the responsibilities very well. They will give the opportunity to the applicant to ask what they are expecting only during the last round of the interview.
The applicant will also have the equal expectations when he is looking for a job. The main expectation will be the pay and to know whether it can help him in improving his financial situation. The person will also look for a good work-life balance because just getting a good pay will not keep the employee happy. He should get enough time to spend with his family and keep his mind clear when he is at home. The company should provide free health insurance to him and also his family. The company should provide paid holidays once in a year and also provide other perks like work from home and frequent team outings. These will make the employee confident about the company and they might decide to join the company. The job they are choosing should also offer good career growth opportunities. So the expectations are for both the parties and it always a two-way traffic.
