study approach: quantitative
study design: randomized control trial
purpose: to assess the effectiveness of learning assistance
independent variable: learning assistance
dependent variable(s): self esteem
setting: selected schools
study plan: randomized control trial will be conducted using manipulation, control and randomization techniques. the groups involved in the study would be experimenteal and control groups of teen aged children selected using simple random sampling and randomization technique. sample size will be determined using preious study results or sample calculation formula. standardised tool will be used for assessing self esteem. pretest post test design will be used in randomised control trial. satisfaction on learning assistance program will be assessed using a self administered rating scale.
hypothesis:
1. null hypothesis(h0): there will be no significant relation between learning assistance program and self esteem of teen aged children in experimental and control group
alternate hypothesis (h1): there will be significant relation between learning assistance program and self esteem of teen aged children in experimental and control group
