There are three main basic elements of human nature and they are pride, self-interest, and success. These three elements of human nature create motivation. Self-interest is a trait that allows a person to repeat behavior that is rewarded. These people that exceed their goals to receive better rewards are considered high pelformers_ Gaining the support of these high performers help promote the importance of information security and its policies. Taking pride in adopting a security policy Will help lead their team and themselves for a successful implementation. Successful implementation of security policy will change employee's attitude towards the policy. The first way that organizations can overcome this policy development and implementation issues is to understand and learn how to motivate the many different types of personalities in the workplace Understanding these personality traits is an advantage in implementing a security policy. The second way is to have good leadership within an organization. A leader's job is to work with their employees to achieve the goals at hand. Implementing security policies is all about working through others to gain their support and abide by the policies. The last way is to motivate the entire organization, this means to be thoughtful realistic, inspirational and to ignite passion in the workplace. Being realistic and thoughtful about the implementation of security policy means balancing leadership, motivation, and personality traits to achieve a positive goal
