1. Symbols : Culture is a system of symbols. Symbols are the things that are used to represent events and show events of past, present and future.

2. Language : Language is the foundation to culture. It is the source of communication to pass a message from one person to another. Language is like a mode of transport (vehicle) to conduct various social activities.

3. Values : Anything that gets importance in our daily life becomes our values. Culture varies geographically from place to place and values also varies similarly. Values are those that passes from generation to generation. Some are hereditary. Culture is full of values. Values add a positive significance to the Culture.

4. Norms : Norms are nothing but rules and guidelines of the culture which specify the behaviour of the person. It makes a individual know his/her limits and what is right and wrong.

5. Beliefs : People belonging every culture and backgrounds have some beliefs for cultural refuge. They are responsible for spiritual fulfilment of individual needs and wants.
